Job Description - ASIC SoC Engineer

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in physical design and EMIR.
  • Experience in ASIC physical design flows and methodologies in process nodes.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in IP integration (e.g., memories, Analog IP).

You develop from the lowest levels of circuit design to large system design and see those systems all the way through to high volume manufacturing. Your work has the potential to shape the machinery that goes into our cutting-edge data centers affecting millions of Google users. With your technical expertise, you lead projects in multiple areas of expertise (i.e., engineering domains or systems) within a data center facility, including construction and equipment installation/troubleshooting/debugging with vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, support, and execute to meet signoff requirements for IR drop, electro-migration (EM), ESD, and more at full-chip and block level.
  • Collaborate with the CAD teams to implement the flows and deploy them to the implementation teams
  • Provide documentation, training, and support to CAD and implementation teams.
  • Develop silicon measurement and validation strategies for electrical aspects, and analyze electrical issues and feedback from silicon testing.
