Job Title: Junior Draughtsman (Architecture)Location : BKC, Mumbai Job Summary:As a Junior Draughtsman with 4-5 years of experience in our architecture firm, you will play a vital role in the development and execution of architectural projects. Working closely with senior draughtsmen and architects, you will contribute to the creation of detailed technical drawings and assist in the translation of design concepts into construction-ready documentation. This position offers an opportunity to build on your existing skills and gain valuable experience in a collaborative and dynamic architectural environment.Responsibilities: Drafting and Design Support:Assist in the creation of architectural drawings, plans, elevations, and sections using CAD software.Work under the guidance of senior draughtsmen to contribute to the development of accurate and detailed drawings.Coordination:Collaborate with senior team members to integrate structural and MEP input into architectural drawings.Participate in coordination meetings to understand project requirements and objectives.Quality Assurance:Ensure the accuracy and completeness of drawings, following established standards and guidelines.Revise drawings as needed to incorporate design changes and feedback.Learning and Development:Stay informed about industry standards, building codes, and regulations related to architectural drafting.Continuously improve technical skills and stay updated on advancements in drafting tools and techniques.Documentation:Assist in the preparation and maintenance of documentation related to drawings and revisions.Learn and apply organizational methods for archiving drawings and project documents.Communication:Effectively communicate with team members to gather information and address design issues.Participate in discussions about drawings with architects and clients to gain valuable insights.Problem-Solving:Collaborate with the team to identify and propose solutions to design and construction challenges.Contribute ideas to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the drafting workflow.Qualifications:Education: Degree or diploma in drafting, architecture, or a related field.Experience: 4-5 years of experience in an architecture firm or a relevant industry.Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.G., AutoCAD) and a basic understanding of 3D modelling tools.Salary : 40k – 60k per month
