Job Description

ITP Media Group (ITP) is one of the largest media companies in the Middle East, with a portfolio of more than 80 brands. The company delivers quality up to date content to its readers, viewers, delegates and guests through digital, print, events, awards, video content, social media platforms and social media influencers.  These brands include major international and regional names such as Time Out, Arabian Business, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, Construction Week, Esquire, GQ.

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager having digital marketing / advertising - BD / Sales experience of minimum 5 years from digital marketing / advertising / media agencies which will help us to expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships to achieve the financial goals set in terms of revenue targets and gross margin targets on a month on month basis.

Requirements

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration.
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead the sales team in acquiring new clients.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and effectively manage the sales cycle
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, advertising agencies, and media buyers.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored advertising solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to the senior management team.
  • Make recommendations for sales strategies and process improvements based on market insights.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, editorial, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of advertising campaigns.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople
  • Must have at least 5 year of experience in digital media sales, advertising & branded content
  • Demonstrated experience in scaling up business operations
  • Prior experience as profit centre head is desired.
  • Seasoned and successful leader, preferably with experience in a major & complex industry or organization in a competitive market segment.
  • Carry good business acumen to help with the growth of the organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Should be target oriented
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
  • A good people manager to ensure everyone is motivated
