This role is for growth seekers and individuals passionate about the real estate construction space. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end to end management of the construction site. The candidate will have to coordinate with the consultants in the project to ensure streamlined and smooth execution. The candidate is expected to be a problem solver, who is required to be agile and pro-active in assessing potential technical issues and coming up with solutions by engaging with concerned stakeholders. In the long-run the candidate will be responsible for building an in-house team and lead the team to manage multiple projects of scale. The candidate will function as a segue between the management and the construction sites. Responsibilities - Oversees construction sites, general contractors, and workers to ensure a high level of quality and safety. - Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals and procedures. - Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices. - Provides technical support at the site to construction contractor and all other consultants to ensure timely completion of project milestones - Develops and maintains project cost/change controls, and project budget and accounting records. - Coordinates and monitors schedule updates, invoices, and submittals. - Assists in managing and reviewing the progress of contractors’ construction schedules. - Reviews weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the construction at site. including project costs and potential changes - Reports the status of projects to the top management - Attend client program meetings as needed Qualifications - Ability to demonstrate executive Leadership - MBA with B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering (Graduation from NICMAR/RICS is preferable) - Minimum 6 years of project experience working in the real estate industry - Risk assessment/management - Conceptual planning ability - Communication, meeting, and presentation skills - Knowledge of project controls - Proficient with MS Office Suite of tools, exposure to schedule software, preferably Primavera (P6) preferred
