As a Design Engineer you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing agricultural structures and facilities that optimize productivity, efficiency, and sustainability. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing engineering principles, and applying innovative solutions to create structures that meet the unique needs of the agriculture sector.

Minimum Education Required
Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients, architects, and project teams to comprehend project requirements and objectives.
- Develop preliminary design concepts for a variety of agricultural structures.
- Utilize design software and tools to produce detailed drawings, models, and specifications.
- Selection of appropriate materials, considering factors like durability, cost, and sustainability.
- Preparing Structural BOM in accordance with approved quotation by Management for Production.
- Suggest construction methods aligning with design specifications and local regulations.
- Produce comprehensive engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
- Create cost estimates and bills of materials for client proposals and project budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, installation engineers, and manufacturing personnel, to enhance existing products or develop new ones.
- Develop prototypes of mechanical designs and perform testing and evaluation to validate functionality, performance, and durability. Make necessary modifications based on test results.
- Clearly communicate design intent and address technical inquiries.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing design-related issues and incorporating modifications as needed.
- Conduct quality checks on design deliverables to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Developing detailed designs (2D) for land layouts or Individual types of structural layouts based on project requirements.
- Creating 3D models and assemblies of structural components and systems.
- Proficiency in creating Analysis and Simulation Results for Static and dynamic conditions of Mechanical Parts and Agri Structures.
Functional and Technical Competencies
- Knowledge of agricultural practices, Agri structure requirements, and relevant regulations.
- Understanding of fundamental engineering principles, such as mechanics, materials science, to apply them in the design of mechanical systems and components.
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Proficiency in Measuring Instruments like Vernier caliper, Micrometer. Proficiency in MS-OFFICE Suite, PDF Editing Tools
- Proficiency in creating technical drawings, including orthographic and isometric views, assembly drawings, exploded views, and tolerance using drafting standards and GD&T principles.
- Proficiency in creating Analysis and Simulation Results for Static and dynamic conditions of Mechanical Parts and Agri Structures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
