About the role

We are looking for a creative professional adept with current trends and design sensibilities rooted in the past. The ideal candidate will be a driven and curious design enthusiast, who believes in pushing boundaries to create exceptional spaces.

What You Will Be Doing

• Generate sample drawings using computer-aided design (CAD), card models, sketches or hard prototypes using software packages such as AutoCAD, Illustrator, Sketchup and Photoshop
• Create 3D models as per the brief.
• Select suitable materials, which might include wood, metal, plastic, and textiles.
• Liaise with interior designers and the production team about the process of construction.
• Accommodate changes as per stakeholder feedback.
• Prepare a detailed final drawing.
• Study, research and plan various styles of furniture design.
• Ensuring project completion from raw materials to finished furniture items.

What You Bring To The Table

• 5-6 years of experience in furniture drafting
• Experience in furniture shop drawings.
• Furniture drafter project experience is a must-have.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), SketchUp
• Well-rounded with strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Manual dexterity
• Knowledge and familiarity of the entire production process (from in inception to construction to delivery)
