THE OPPORTUNITY - IInnovation Leader Reporting to Engineering Leader
Innovation Leader need to be a strong technopreneur responsible for building NPI pipeline, quick POC, Technology readiness with agility and lean execution method. Duties include creating idea pipeline converting their innovative ideas into commercially viable products. Also responsible for patenting and commercialization. This is working with various stakeholders, build and drive the projects to successful completion. This includes extensive coordination with various Honeywell cross-functional team like Product Manager, Engineering team, external design partner and various vendors for material supply or engineering labor . The activities would include transformation of customer requirement into product requirement followed by technical delivery .
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the measurement & control project metrics. For example, Quality, delivery, cost & schedule and submitting the project plans/progress on time, change requests and documentation of change to baseline etc.
. Build strong idea pipeline
. Prioritizing the idea and quick POC for commercially viable product
. Co creation with customer
. Strong in technology and customer understanding
. Leverage university and other ecosystem for idea pipeline and driving hackathon
. Able to scan the external ecosystem like Startups for collaboration and partnership
. Risk identification and mitigation for all projects of designated area
. Achieve organization Metrics goals for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity & Customer feedback which are in line with customer & employee satisfaction and Business growth
. Drive Revenue forecast & margin improvement
. Able to lead a small team and capable to quickly build a team as required for idea execution
YOU MUST HAVE
. B.E / B.Tech. (Electronics/IT/CS) with a minimum of 5+ years of overall professional experience in product development organization.
. Should have taken at least 2 idea from nurturing to commercialization.
. Customer and tech savvy
. Startup experience is an added advantage
. Hands On skills in IOT based product development
. Proficiency in design tools, lean six sigma and agile methodology
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

Travel
