Location : Chennai, India

Salary Range : ₹35,000 - ₹40,000 per month

Job Overview :

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. This role involves crafting functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces for a diverse range of clients. The ideal candidate will possess a sharp eye for detail and a passion for design innovation. This position requires someone who can manage projects from concept through completion while ensuring high standards of design quality and functionality.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities :

• Design Development : Interpret client needs and lifestyle requirements to create compelling design concepts. Utilize space planning skills to layout spaces effectively.
  
• Client Interaction : Work directly with clients to refine design plans to their satisfaction while staying within budget constraints.
  
• Project Management : Oversee project timelines, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and ensure all installations are carried out to specifications.
  
• Material Selection : Select and specify materials, furniture, and fixtures, ensuring compatibility with environmental, safety, and aesthetic standards.
  
• Documentation : Prepare detailed working drawings, designs, plans, models, and schemes using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  
• Budget Management : Monitor budget compliance and perform cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Compliance and Safety : Ensure all designs comply with legal and health and safety standards.
  

Essential Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  
• Proven work experience (2+ years) as an Interior Designer or similar role.
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, or other design programs.
  
• Strong portfolio of design work.
