Job Description:

As a Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our project planning and execution process. You will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs and materials required for plastering and drywall installations on various construction projects. Your primary duties will include:

· Analyzing project blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to understand project requirements.

· Utilizing estimation software and tools to calculate material quantities, labor costs, and project timelines.

· Collaborating with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely estimates.

· Preparing detailed cost estimates, proposals, and bid packages for submission to clients.

· Participating in pre-bid meetings and negotiations with clients and stakeholders.

· Keeping abreast of industry trends, materials, and pricing to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.

· Providing ongoing support and assistance to project teams throughout the construction process.

· Verify dimensions, materials, and other details to minimize errors and rework.

· Maintain organized and up-to-date files and records.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

· Proven experience as a plastering and drywall estimator in the construction industry with minimum 2 – 5 year’s experience in Construction industry.

· Strong knowledge of plastering and drywall installation techniques, materials and costs.

· Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Cubit Estimating Software, Excel).

· Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication skills ( verbal and written ).

· Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

· Ability to meet deadline consistently.

· A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
