Provide artistic direction, guidance, and mentorship to the team to ensure consistency in style, quality, and creativity across all sculpting projects.
Collaborate closely with art directors, concept artists, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, interpret concept designs, and translate them into 3D digital sculptures.
Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure timely completion of sculpting tasks and adherence to project milestones.
Conduct regular reviews and feedback sessions with team members to assess progress, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital sculpting techniques and tools.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and continuous learning.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Digital Arts, Animation, or related field.
Proven experience in digital sculpting, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in character and prop sculpting using digital sculpting software such as ZBrush, Mudbox, or Blender.
Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with the ability to lead and inspire a team of artists.
Strong artistic and creative skills, with a keen eye for detail, form, and proportion.
Proficiency in digital sculpting techniques, anatomy, and character design principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear direction, feedback, and constructive criticism.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering techniques is a plus.
Passion for digital art, animation, and storytelling.
