Lead Software Architect:

Are you an experienced Software Architect known for designing software-based products and delivering enterprise-level solutions ? if yes, we have an exciting role for you! BosonQ Psi is looking for a Lead Software Architect to lead our quantum-based application development.

In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in designing and implementing a secure and scalable Quantum Software platform, laying the groundwork for revolutionary applications. your expertise will be crucial in guiding the development process of our flagship product, BQPhy, ensuring alignment with business requirements, technical feasibility, and future scalability.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Strategic Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to decipher business requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications.
• Platform Architecture: Create and adapt a scalable, secure, and maintainable platform architecture fulfilling the performance, quality, and security objectives.
• Technology Selection: Assess and integrate appropriate technologies for platform development, including cloud platforms, APIs, databases, and containerization solutions.
• Application Development Leadership: Lead the application development lifecycle, defining architecture adaptations, APIs, and development standards for applications residing on the platform.
• Guidance and Oversight: Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure adherence to architectural guidelines and best practices.
• Continuous Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize both platform and applications for performance and security enhancements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in a Software / Solution Architect or comparable technical leadership role.
• 3+ years of overall experience in leading a team in Application design/development.
• 2+ years of experience in web application development.
• Experienced track record in designing and constructing scalable, secure, and maintainable software platforms with experience in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures, enabling modularity, scalability, and flexibility.
• Familiarity with leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP and proficiency in on-premises deployment and infrastructure solutions.
• Facilitation of efficient deployment and management of applications using containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and implementing data management strategies, including data modeling, storage, and retrieval mechanisms.
• Exceptional leadership skills required for effective communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution to empower strategic thinking and resiliency.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in Object-oriented languages, such as Python, C++, C#, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Experience in establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines with various tools to automate the software delivery process and streamline deployment.
• Experience in application performance tuning by identifying performance bottlenecks and optimizing system performance.
• Proficiency in various application development methodologies, including Agile (in DevOps), for facilitating seamless collaboration between development and operations teams to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Security Acumen: Strong grasp of security principles and best practices, essential for crafting secure platforms and applications in today's threat landscape.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Experience with Quantum Library, Architecture, and proficiency in AI and ML are good to have.
