Manager - Design Estimation

Job Description :

• Preparing complete cost of estimation for complete lab fit outs including lab furniture fume hoods and MEP scope which further includes material labor installation testing / commissioning man hours direct & indirect resources in line with BOQ scope of workproject specifications & standards.
• Study tender documents including drawings project specification BOQ scope of work contract details and conditions
• Study tender BOQ quantities take off sending enquiries to the / subcontractors vendors to get competitive quotations.
• Training and managing a team of estimators
• Coordinating with internal design team and validating BOQs prepared by them to ensure correctness and completeness of proposals to customers.
• Liaise with construction / operations team to establish execution / method statements and reflect the same in estimation.
• Preparing technical clarifications to client for discrepancies in tender documents after reviewing. Incorporating the changes after response.
• Support in pre tender meetings site visits and preparing site visit report to analyze the project scope of work
• Analyze vendor/subcontractor technical offers and commercial as well in view of project specifications price and standards.
• Preparing required bid documents includes commercial and technical submittals.
• Collect all vendors technical data sheets vendors specification drawings and compile in line with tender documents to prepare technical bid submission.
• Assist the supply chain team for post tender commercial negotiations with client and vendors as well to reach competitive pricing.
• Coordinate closely with finance team to ensure margins are maintained in all proposals.

Skill :

• Minimum 810 years of Estimation experience especially in Industrial Turnkey Projects for Chemical Pharmaceutical and Biotech industries.
• Strong Technical backgroundespecially in MEP services
