Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous MEP Draftsman to join our team in Saudi Arabia. In this role you will be responsible for preparing detailed Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) drawings that align with project requirements and industry standards. You will work closely with engineers architects and project managers to ensure that designs are accurate clear and compliant with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create precise and detailed technical drawings for MEP systems using CAD software.
  
• Collaborate with engineering and architectural teams to understand project requirements and incorporate them into drawings.
  
• Review drawings for errors ensuring accuracy and making modifications as needed based on engineer feedback and project changes.
  
• Ensure all drawings adhere to local building codes project specifications and company standards.
  
• Maintain and organize technical documentation including drawings and specification sheets for easy access during project development.
  
• Support Building Information Modeling (BIM) implementation by integrating MEP drawings into BIM software.
  
• Identify potential design issues during drafting and work with the engineering team to provide solutions.
  
• Occasionally provide onsite support helping teams understand and follow technical drawings for successful implementation.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelors degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Drafting or a related field.
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience in drafting MEP drawings for construction projects.
  
• Professional certifications in CAD/BIM or relevant software is an advantage.
  
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
  
• Strong understanding of MEP design principles and practices.
  
• Familiarity with BIM software such as Revit for integration and design management.
  
• Ability to produce highly detailed and accurate drawings.
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with engineering and architectural teams.
  
• Analytical thinking to identify and resolve drafting challenges quickly.
  
• Efficient documentation and organizational abilities to maintain an accurate record of technical drawings.
  

CAD Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD or similar CAD software. MEP Knowledge: Strong understanding of MEP design principles and practices.
