Employee Relations (ER):

  • Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries, concerns, and conflicts with empathy and professionalism.
  • Proactively manage employee relations issues, guiding resolution processes to maintain a harmonious work environment.
  • Collaborate closely with HR colleagues to uphold consistent application of policies and procedures, fostering fairness and transparency.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into ER matters, providing well-informed recommendations for resolution and preventative action.

Performance Management:

  • Support the performance management lifecycle, assisting managers in delivering constructive feedback, setting goals, and fostering employee development.
  • Facilitate performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions when necessary, ensuring adherence to established protocols and legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of performance-related discussions and actions, promoting accountability and transparency.
  • Utilize data analysis to identify performance trends and opportunities for targeted interventions and improvement initiatives.

Compliance:

  • Stay abreast of evolving employment laws, regulations, and industry standards, proactively adapting HR practices to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and rectify areas of non-compliance, minimizing organizational risk.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive compliance training programs for employees and managers, promoting a culture of adherence and awareness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance considerations into HR processes and decision-making.

Data Reporting:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to generate actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Produce regular and ad-hoc reports on key HR metrics, distilling complex information into accessible formats for diverse stakeholders.
  • Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of HR data through meticulous record-keeping and adherence to data protection regulations.
  • Leverage data analytics tools and methodologies to identify trends, forecast future needs, and optimize HR strategies and initiatives.

Operations:

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations with efficiency and attention to detail, including the maintenance of employee records and documentation.
  • Enforce compliance with HR policies and procedures across shared services functions, promoting consistency and reliability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes, identify opportunities for automation, and enhance service delivery effectiveness.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, proactively seeking feedback and implementing innovations to elevate the HR function's efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in HR roles, with a focus on employee relations and shared services operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in HR policies, practices, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively navigate and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing demands, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant software applications.
