JOB TITLE: PRINCIPAL ENGINEER - PIPING STRESS ANALYSIS
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Extensive use of CAESAR II 2018 or above for Oil and Gas Projects.
· Ability to perform stress analysis of lines connected to Pumps, Air cooled heat exchanger, Vessels, Heat exchangers, reciprocating compressor etc. and Provide support Markup recommendation in Isometrics.
· Ability to perform Modal analysis for piping systems as per project specification using CAESAR II software for two phase lines.
· Should have sufficient knowledge and skill in loop sizing,
· Ability to prepare stress specification, support standard and Stress critical line list.
· Ability to perform elevation of flange leakage calculation based on ASME Sec. III NC and ASME Sec VIII method.
· Conversant with use of simplified analysis techniques including guided cantilever method.
· Preparation of Pipe rack loading for structural design including Identification of Anchor Bay location.
· Knowledge in FIV and AIV study implementation.
· Familiar with Calculating SIF for Tee’s and Bends using B31J and PRG Tools
· Ability to prepare MR, TQ and TBE for Clamps, Springs, Strut, Cold Shoe & Expansion joints.
· Shall have experience in Interaction with disciplines, clients, vendors, resolving site technical queries and provide support to procurement & Construction
· Knowledge of ASME/API/ANSI/ISO/MSS international codes and standards.
· Hands on Experience with Navisworks as 3D reviewing tool for Oil and Gas Projects.
· Knowledge on PMS (piping material specification) and piping design basis.
· Supervise a team of engineers and designers in carrying out detailed engineering work assuming responsibility for detailed design and provide necessary technical information in compliance with tender specifications/data sheets and within budgeted man-hour and project schedules
· Exposure to EPC environments.
· Knowledge in detailed Engineering of projects.
· Knowledge of Quality and safety procedures.
· Excellent communication skill in English to interact with foreign nationals.
· Ability to plan, schedule and forecast his work
· Manage Interdisciplinary interface
· Review contract requirements for project execution, organize the preparation of the Technical Document Register (TDR), identify requirements and scope of work Review specifications. Review Philosophies and other relevant documents. Establish contract review criteria, identify, and resolve discrepancies and divergences from original proposal through the technical queries to projects/client
