Job Description – Sr. Account Executive (Indirect Tax)

Primary responsibilities:

• Undertaking indirect tax compliances for group entities located in EMEA, APAC and Americas regions
• Preparation of VAT/GST/Consumption calculations
• Ensuring accurate, timely filing of indirect tax returns
• Preparation of monthly indirect tax reconciliations
• Preparation of tax journal entries to be posted in accounting tool
• Research on complex indirect tax issues arising in regions such as EMEA, APAC, US etc.
• Maintenance of records of all tax filings and payments
• Prepare various ad hoc reports required to support the indirect tax calculations

• Strong interpersonal skills - ability to work effectively as part of a team in an unstructured environment; comfortable and effective in working with all levels of management; ability to tactfully receive constructive feedback
• Demonstrating innovative and critical thinking in managing projects including identification of better ways to handle a project
• Must be a 'self-starter' with a can-do attitude and a serious desire to have a positive impact on our company

Educational background and experience:

• Chartered Accountant with 1 to 2 years or MBA with 3 to 5 years of experience in indirect tax compliances at a multinational organization
• Experience working for a U.S. owned company would be an advantage
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Fluency in English (speaking & writing)
• Open to working during EMEA & US Shift timings
