Job Description - Senior Purchase Executive

Overview:

We are hiring Senior Purchase Executive for a leading Construction Company

The role of a Senior Purchase Executive is crucial to our organization as it involves managing the procurement process ensuring timely and costeffective purchasing of goods and services and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. The Senior Purchase Executive plays an integral part in optimizing procurement processes to drive efficiency and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services
  • Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and pricing
  • Collaborating with other departments to determine procurement needs quality and delivery requirements
  • Participating in the development of specifications for equipment materials and services to be purchased
  • Managing supplier performance and relationships addressing issues and improving overall supplier performance
  • Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures as well as relevant regulations
  • Reviewing and optimizing purchasing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Maintaining accurate records of purchases pricing and other important information
  • Identifying potential costsaving opportunities and implementing supply chain improvements
  • Monitoring inventory levels and collaborating with inventory management teams to maintain optimal stock levels

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or in a similar procurement role
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of supply chain management and procurement processes
  • Ability to analyze data identify trends and make datadriven decisions
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools such as ERP systems MS Excel and procurement software
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations regarding procurement and supply chain management
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
