Job Title: Site Supervisor (Pre-Engineering Building)

Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Salary: ₹1,80,000 - ₹2,40,000 per annum

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee our Pre-Engineering Building (PEB) projects in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

1. Project Management and Supervision:
   

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
  
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
  
• Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.
  

1. Quality Control and Safety Compliance:
   

• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
  
• Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
  
• Review the work progress on daily basis.
  

1. Communication and Reporting:
   

• Report project progress and budget matters to clients.
  
• Communicate with clients to interpret their needs and requirements.
  
• Maintain a daily diary of the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessary.
  

1. Problem Solving:
   

• Resolve any problems that may arise due to emergencies, delays, or other issues.
  

1. Documentation:
   

• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
  
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  
• Proven experience as a construction supervisor or role of similar capacity, specifically with PEB projects.
  
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
  

Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of construction operations and equipment.
  
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Leadership ability and a team player.
  

Additional Requirements:

• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
  
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
  
• PMP or an equivalent certification will be an asset.
