Graphic Designer Team Lead As a Senior Graphic Designer and Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented designers to conceptualize and execute exceptional visual solutions that meet client objectives and exceed expectations. You will play a key role in driving creativity, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects from concept to completion. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field. Master's degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative excellence and expertise across various design mediums. Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of designers, with excellent leadership and communication skills. Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other relevant design tools. Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and branding. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities. Experience working in a fast-paced agency environment is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Creative Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of graphic designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback to foster their growth and development. Set the creative direction for projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, brand guidelines, and industry best practices. Encourage innovation and experimentation, pushing the boundaries of design to deliver fresh and impactful solutions. Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end execution of design projects, from concept development and ideation to final delivery. Collaborate with account managers, clients, and cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables. Monitor project progress, allocate resources effectively, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Design Execution: Lead by example in producing high-quality design work across a range of mediums, including print, digital, and multimedia. Conceptualize and create compelling visual assets, including branding, marketing collateral, digital graphics, and multimedia presentations. Ensure consistency in design aesthetics, typography, and brand identity across all projects. Client Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for clients on design-related matters, understanding their needs, objectives, and feedback. Present design concepts and recommendations to clients, articulating the rationale behind creative decisions and addressing any concerns or questions. Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting open communication, idea sharing, and cross-functional collaboration. Work closely with other departments, including marketing, copywriting, and web development, to ensure seamless integration of design with overall project objectives.
