Role Overview:
- The Content Manager for Learning & Development will guide the L&D team by creating, obtaining, and supervising various learning content across all age groups.
- This content spans Learning Design, Learning Management System (LMS), educational modules, system & process subject matter expertise, and Vendor Management divisions.
- The primary focus will be on programming education, but the ability to adapt content for a wider range of learners is crucial.
- The Content Manager should have experience in creating engaging and educational content for children, with a strong focus on the 6-12 age group( a plus).
Primary Roles & Responsibilities:
- Content Generation, Program Design & Execution:
- Establish a foundation for content and digital learning adhering to the best practices of Instructional Design and Course Writing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify learning and performance enhancement requirements, proposing solutions to gain consensus.
- Construct a role-centric content structure using an academy approach. Design and develop multiple forms of content like Instructor-Led Trainings (ILTs), Web-Based Trainings (WBTs), performance support tools, assessments, and blended learning resources, with a focus on engaging and educational methods for children (e.g., gamification, storytelling). Propose and implement learning design solutions as per business requirements, considering the optimal mode for content delivery - digital, physical or blended (phygital).
Communication, Advocacy, and Representation:
- Adhere to the organization's style guidelines and prepare data for publication or communication regarding all programs.
Leadership & Direction:
- Undertake complex learning insights tasks as needed, and engage with team members to gain industry insights.
- Collaborate to develop or procure content as necessary. Assess existing offerings.
- Formulate and/or execute the budget for her deliverables.
- Demonstrate agility in execution along with providing strategic direction to the content division of the L&D department.
