Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Architectural, Civil & Structural (ACS )Coordination and Integration: Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop and implement ACS strategies and plans for building access control and security systems. Collaborate with the design team to integrate ACS components into the building's infrastructure and ensure their compatibility with other MEP systems.

• MEP Coordination: Collaborate with MEP engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to coordinate the design, installation, and maintenance of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems. Ensure seamless integration and proper functioning of these systems throughout the construction process.

• Design Review: Review ACS and MEP design drawings, specifications, and plans to identify potential conflicts, errors, or issues. Coordinate with the design team to resolve any conflicts or discrepancies and ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

• Project Management: Assist in the development and management of project schedules, budgets, and resources related to ACS and MEP systems. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the project team. Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of ACS and MEP equipment and materials.

• Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure that ACS and MEP systems are installed correctly, meet design requirements, and comply with relevant standards. Identify and resolve any quality issues or deviations from the approved plans.

• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges related to ACS and MEP systems during construction. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop innovative solutions and ensure smooth operations of these systems.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to ACS and MEP systems, including design drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and project correspondence. Prepare regular progress reports and participate in project meetings to provide updates on ACS and MEP coordination activities.

• Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards for ACS and MEP systems. Promote a safe working environment and identify potential hazards or risks associated with these systems' installations

• Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills to motivate and manage project teams, promote collaboration, resolve conflicts, and facilitate effective teamwork. The ability to delegate tasks, provide clear directions, and mentor team members is important for project success.

Experience:

• Experience in ACS and MEP project management/coordination or a similar role within the construction industry.

• Strong knowledge of ACS and MEP systems, including architectural, civil structure , HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection, building automation , telecom & security.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting ACS and MEP design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

• Familiarity with RIBA plan of work & relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in using ACS and MEP coordination software and tools.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy.

• Expert in report writing, preparation of the MOM.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related engineering field. Master’s in building engineering management/construction management would be preferred.

• PMP (PMI) Certified project management professional shall be given preference

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook, Revit, Navis Works, BIM & AutoCAD.
