About the Team

This team is part of Merchant Solution group and involved in continuous development of an European omni-channel and acquiring payment solution – connecting and simplifying payments across all your sales channels, whether in-store, online or mobile. The product offers a secure end to end payment processing by bringing together Point of Sale, integrated payments and acquiring into one complete service. It has a capability of handling funds, managing charges & settlement across multiple currencies and caters to Merchants from multiple geographies. It services both SMB as well as Enterprise level merchants. This is a highly scalable platform that handles millions of transactions per day.

What you will be doing 

• Technically leading a team of Automation(API and Robotics), Performance and Operation Acceptance Testing team members.
  • Tackle complex problems and provide solution for teams
  • Requires you to be hands on to help team as needed and conduct R&D and POC on tools/technology as required to meet business requirement.
  • Perform Debugging and test script execution.
  • Working on Web services testing with exposure to Rest API and tools.
  • Develop / Customize automation test scripts using Selenium (Java), Groovy Scripting, API.
  • Exploring Automation tools.
• Accept as a mission to increase automation across product lines to increase efficiency and productivity and significantly reduce manual efforts required to perform regression
• Developing and executing an Automation testing strategy.
• Collaborating with Scrum teams.
  • Dashboard Reporting, Metrics, Status Reporting, Tracking, Estimation.
• Leveraging and exploring CI/CD and working with DevOps team for Automation to further increase efficiency and drive innovation.

What you bring: -

Knowledge/Experience

• Overall 10+ years, out of which combined 6+ years strong experience in API Automation, Performance Engineering, Robotics and OAT testing
• 5+ years of Hands on experience in developing/implementing automation using REST and SOAP. Constructed/customized the API Inputs request using JSON, SOAP formats and obtained responses with necessary validation
• 5+ years of Experience in automated test execution and test script preparation
• Strong exposure to all or some of known industry standard framework – Karate, Selenium, Playwright, Protector, Pact, JUnit, Spring Test Framework or any other equivalent test automation framework
• 3+ years of experience in CI/CD automation and integration
• 3+ years of Oracle Database work experience
• Experience in Implementing and Driving Automation Test Strategy
• Working experience in Agile methodology / Scrum teams
• Demonstrated understanding of source code management concepts and/or software development lifecycles
