Job Title: Sales Head
Company: The Project Café
Location: Goa, India
Reports to: Founder
This Sales Head role at The Project Café requires a dynamic individual with a strong sales background and a passion for delivering exceptional customer
experiences in the experiential lifestyle industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, fostering customer relationships, and
leading a team to achieve property objectives.
Responsibilities :
1. Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to drive sales in various aspects of
experiential lifestyle, including cafes, hotels, merchandising, events, design, and
consulting.
2. Monitor sales activity to ensure timely issuance of contracts and proposals.
3. Effectively communicate with all departments regarding sales strategies and execution
details.
4. Develop hotel-level tactical sales plans specific to different market segments to
support overall company-wide strategies.
5. Update action plans and financial objectives quarterly.
6. Conduct daily sales calls, arrange site inspections, and deliver presentations to
potential clients.
7. Provide timely responses and cultivate long-term business relationships with clients.
8. Support the company's service and relationship strategy to drive customer loyalty.
9. Organize and set up wellness retreats, lecture series, and other events with the support
of relevant departments.
10. Collaborate with the Revenue Manager to ensure rate negotiations meet financial
needs
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
1. Degree or Diploma from a recognized university.
2. Minimum 4 years of experience in sales within the luxury hotel industry. Total experience not
exceeding 10 years.
3. Proficiency in Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing software.
4. Ability to work long hours when required.
5. Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees
and guests. Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills.
7. Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a courteous and service-oriented
manner.
8. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex information.
10. Maintain confidentiality of information.
Core Work Activities:
1. Develop strategic account plans for demand generators in the market.
2. Manage reactive and proactive sales efforts.
3. Determine and develop marketing communication activities.
4. Provide customer intelligence to evaluate market trends.
5. Review market position reports and competitor strategies.
6. Attend sales strategy meetings and suggest innovative ideas.
7. Coordinate sales activities with relevant departments and stakeholders.
8. Participate in sales calls to acquire new business and maintain customer satisfaction.
Implement seamless turnover from sales to operations.
10. Monitor guest issues and ensure timely resolution.
11. Develop partnerships with local organizations to increase brand awareness.
12. Provide leadership to achieve property sales objectives.
13. Set goals, strategies, and performance expectations for sales team.
14. Partner with Human Resources for talent acquisition and development.
15. Manage marketing budget and develop property-specific campaign
