Job Description - International Customer Care

Overview:

The International Customer Care position is a vital role within our organization responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our international clientele. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining positive relationships with our global customer base and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound international customer inquiries via phone email and chat
  • Assist customers in placing orders tracking shipments and resolving product or service issues
  • Provide support and information on product features pricing and availability
  • Address billing and paymentrelated queries and concerns
  • Ensure timely and accurate resolution of customer complaints and escalations
  • Collaborate with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical and logistical issues
  • Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records of communication
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance customer experience
  • Stay updated on product knowledge company policies and industry regulations
  • Adhere to established service levels and performance metrics
  • Contribute to a positive and professional work environment
  • Assist with language translation and interpretation when necessary
  • Participate in crossfunctional training and knowledge sharing
  • Adapt to varying cultural norms and practices when interacting with international customers
  • Support marketing initiatives and promotions aimed at international markets

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience in international customer service or similar role
  • Fluency in at least two languages including English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to empathize with and understand diverse cultural perspectives
  • Excellent problemsolving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Knowledge of international shipping customs and export regulations
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other customer support tools
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing
  • Ability to work flexible hours and accommodate different time zones
  • Familiarity with international market trends and customer behavior
  • Capability to work well under pressure and handle demanding customer situations
  • Adherence to confidentiality and privacy guidelines
  • Experience handling highvolume customer interactions
  • Certification in language interpretation or translation (desired)
