Job Description - Jean Martin Inc - Presales & Business Development Specialist - Financial Services Vertical

We are seeking a motivated Presales/Business Development Specialist to join our Financial Services division in Mumbai or Chennai. The ideal candidate will drive business growth by supporting the sales team, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong client relationships. Responsibilities include developing proposals, conducting market research, generating leads, and creating tailored solutions for clients. The role requires staying updated on industry trends and contributing to sales strategy development to achieve company targets. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our business growth and client success. - The individual will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to the sales team and potential clients during the pre-sales process. - This role involves understanding client requirements, designing solutions that meet these needs, preparing proposals, and assisting the Senior Managing Partner in sales efforts. Roles and Responsibilities : Supporting Sales Team : - Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, pitch decks, and marketing collaterals tailored to client requirements. - Collaborate with leads across various organizational verticals to gather and prepare necessary materials for marketing campaigns. Strategic Development : - Coordinate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and accompanying materials. - Take responsibility for creating a verified and high-quality lead funnel for the sales team. Pre-Sales to Post-Sales Support : - Manage all support activities from pre-sales through post-sales for assigned leads. - Identify and develop new sales opportunities through proactive engagement and analysis. Market Analysis: - Analyze competitors and market trends to better position the company's offerings. - Communicate with customers to understand their needs and identify sales opportunities. Customer Education : - Demonstrate products to potential customers and explain their features and benefits. - Maintain and update the database of prospects to ensure up-to-date information for the sales team. Research and Information Gathering: - Conduct research to identify new leads and keep abreast of product and service information as well as competitor offers. Performance Metrics : - Maintain a track record of exceeding sales quotas. - Exhibit strong phone presence, including experience in making numerous calls daily. Communication and Presentation : - Utilize corporate productivity and web presentation tools effectively. - Display excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong listening abilities, and effective presentation skills. Eligibility and Desired Profile: Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team Background : - Hold an MBA in Finance or CFA certification, indicating a strong foundation in financial principles and Have 3-6 years of experience in sales activities, particularly in sectors such as Investment Banking, Private Equity (PE), or Hedge Funds. - Demonstrate proven inside sales experience with a consistent track record of over-achieving sales quotas. - Proactive and Enthusiastic Attitude: - Be a proactive self-starter who takes initiative and displays enthusiasm and a positive attitude toward work. - The individual in this role will be integral to the sales process, providing crucial support that ensures the sales team can effectively engage with and secure potential clients.
