Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to lead the delivery of offshore banking Business Process Services (BPS) operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing operations and delivering exceptional results in the banking sector, with specific expertise in UK savings bank operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing service level agreements (SLAs), leading and developing a team, driving process improvements, managing changes, and mitigating risks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of offshore banking services.
Responsibilities:
- Service Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of offshore banking BPS operations, ensuring compliance with SLAs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operations professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to achieve performance targets and career growth.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency enhancements to drive operational excellence and cost savings.
- Management: Lead the implementation of changes in processes, systems, or organizational structure, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.
- Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks, implementing controls and contingency plans to safeguard business continuity and minimize exposure.
- Monitoring: Develop and maintain performance metrics and KPIs to track operational performance, analyze trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
