Job Description - Team Leader- Technology Services

Job Description

Position Summary: Team is responsible for designing, developing, and managing Cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and services. Optimize IT resources, improve scalability, and reduce operational costs. Work closely with other IT professionals, such as developers, architects, and system administrators, to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions. Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage Azure cloud technology services product catalog lifecycle
  • Collaborate with other technical teams and enable stakeholders to speed up their adoption of cloud with self-service automation
  • Partners with application development, operations, and customers to identify needs, opportunities, and solutions
  • Produce high quality and easy to understand technical documentation
  • Automate infrastructure lifecycle, configuration management, and issue remediation utilizing infrastructure as code (IAC) tools like Terraform and Ansible
  • Evaluate automation opportunities and solutions for complex cloud infrastructure challenges, such as cost optimization, security, and scalability
  • Collaborate with development teams on infrastructure deployment best practices, such as continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), and immutable infrastructure
  • Onboard the enterprise applications into Azure, develop, document, and implement cloud strategy using our IaC stack
  • Understand customer requirements (functional and non-functional) and KPIs
  • Troubleshoot and resolving production incidents, problems, and service requests
  • Establishes and updates local standards and best practice within own technical area
  • Owns the technical relationship with key stakeholders and partnering teams
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology
  • Participate in special projects as required
  • Work effectively with other team members, customers, and key stakeholders .
  • Be a positive force within the team and ready to roll up your sleeves.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field with 7+ years of IT and or Cloud Infrastructure engineering work experience

Experience:
5+ years of Azure Cloud services working knowledge

3+ years of experience in a role utilizing terraform infrastructure as code (IaC) to deploy and manage infrastructure lifecycle in the Cloud.

  • Experience building and architecting solutions to enable efficient and automated operations of Cloud Services.
  • Experience working with non-technical business partners to deliver global solutions.
  • Experience working with stakeholders and facilitating small groups
  • Excellent analytical skills as well as communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, both verbal and in writing.
  • Ability to foster strong partnerships with business customers, peer groups and vendors.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Takes a thorough, comprehensive, inquisitive, thoughtful, persistent and conscientious approach to assignments. Pays attention to details and ensures accuracy and high quality.
  • Excellent writing and documentation skills.
  • Ability to skillfully, knowledgeably and diplomatically represent the team, department or Company at meetings and conferences.
  • Ability to play a vital role in high visibility assignments.
