Role purpose

Reporting directly to the Cyber Team Lead, this role will be focused on  driving the requirements of the Cyber Security policies, standards and procedures; which is seen as a key strategic pillar within the organisation. As an assurance analyst you will join a team responsible for the ongoing security controls design and validation of corporate IT security tools and processes in line with company security policies and ISO 27001-27002 certification control requirements. We’re looking for talented, self-motivated professionals who have a strong passion for information security and a burning desire to learn. Key accountabilities

Assurance

• Assessing the delivery of the identity access management function
• Supports the maturity of the Cyber Risk Governance strategy.
• Supports the Cyber security framework delivery and adherence in alignment with the governance direction.
• Experience driving information Identity and access management reviews within a global business
• Recognise areas of improvement and work proactively with respective teams to align with security and corporate goals.
• Ensure Cyber Risks Management standards and exceptions are documented and authorised.

Relationship management

• Develop and maintain robust relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure assurance analysis is visible and in line with agreed customer expectations.
• Ensures the smooth integration of new assurance standards.
• Raise awareness and profile of Cyber Risk Management across the business.

Communication

• Responsible for pro-active and regular communication with other areas of the business in relation to efficacy of policies, standards and procedures.
• Be proactive in the provision of feedback and the delivery of ideas to develop and improve the Cyber Risks Management service.
• Ensure feedback to line manager outlining general activities of role and ‘how we are doing’.

General

• Undertakes any necessary training associated with the duties of the post and participates in training and development procedures.
• Complies with all company policies and legislation in the performance of their duties and responsibilities.
• Maintains confidentiality and observes data protection guidelines.
• Carries out any other reasonable duties commensurate with their capability.

Essential

• At least 1-3 years of experience of User access controls/management in a global organisation  
• Awareness of Cyber Governance & Risks Management concepts
• Effective command over Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Teams.
• Sound understanding of access control principles.
• Should have understanding around Joiner, Mover and Leavers process.

Desirable

• Financial Services or Professional Services industry experience.
• Familiarity with IT concepts
• Familiarity with Project Management methodologies
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
