Job Description - Executive Assistant

Position:

We are seeking to appoint an Executive Assistant to join our small but expanding team and support our growth. The Executive Assistant will provide administrative and coordination support to the Executive team and act as an ‘office manager’ to support the smooth day-to-day operations of the business.

The position would suit a professional who has experience working in a professional environment and wants to develop and grow their experience in a start-up environment. The role has multiple demands and would suit someone who always thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment balancing speed and quality in task completion.

In brief, the role holder would need to assist the Director of Student Recruitment and their Executive and Senior Management Teams as needed by carrying out general administration duties, gathering information, and managing documentation.

Requirements:

Support to Senior Management:

• Provide high-level administrative support to senior executives in Commercial Operations.

• Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Business Acumen and Legal Support:

• Demonstrate strong business acumen and legal concept knowledge.

• Assist in the interpretation and application of legal concepts relevant to our industry.

Consultancy Expertise:

• Leverage 4-6 years of consultancy experience to contribute valuable insights.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

• Contribute to strategic planning processes by providing analytical and organizational support.

• Assist in the execution of key business initiatives and projects.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, and reports.

• Maintain accurate and organized records, ensuring confidentiality where required.

Meeting Coordination:

• Schedule and coordinate meetings, ensuring effective communication among team members.

• Prepare meeting agendas, documents, and follow-up on action items.

Travel Arrangements:

• Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements for executives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Finance or a related field.

• 4-6 years of experience in a consultancy role.

• Proven ability to understand legal concepts and their application in a business context.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to contribute strategically to the Commercial Operations team.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant tools.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
