We foster a thriving internal community and are committed to creating a workplace that looks like the world that we serve.Pay and Benefits:Competitive compensation, including base pay and annual incentiveComprehensive health and life insurance and well-being benefits, based on locationPaid Time Off and Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).The impact you will have in this role :The Lead Engineer has hand-on experience with the ability to provide comprehensive technical consultation to business unit, IT management and staff at the highest technical level on all phases of the project development cycleThis person in this role will work closely with our Infrastructure teams and our internal business clients to resolve and escalate technical support incidents where necessary.Your Primary Responsibilities :Work closely with other Infrastructure engineers to identify and specify the complex business requirements and processes (e.g., diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools, etc.).Work with a cross-functional team leveraging agile development methodologies and toolsValidate database build requirements, leverage automation tools to complete requirementsProvide all aspects of DBA support including database installation (RAC/Single Instance) and configuration, upgrade, backup and recovery, partitioning, performance tuning, etcOther duties may be assigned.Installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining database instances both on premises and on cloudRecommending and implementing database security policiesRecommending and implementing database backup, recovery, and redundancy strategiesImplementing automated monitoring to ensure proactive handing of issuesWorking independently to perform database performance analysis, capacity planning, system sizing and ongoing maintenance.Talents Needed for Success:Minimum 6 years of experienceSolid Experience in Database patching, database upgrades in both Oracle Oracle 19c HAS/RAC , Dataguard, Goldengate , OEMShould have worked as a L2 and L3 Engineer or above in managing Oracle environmentsDemonstrate strong performance Tuning and Optimization skills in OracleOracle Auditing, Partitioning and archivingCloud : Aurora, PostGres and CloudWatchUNIX Shell scripting, PL/SQL, Ansible, PythonPerformance TuningActual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
