Position: Engineer Sales & Business Development Location: Devanahalli - Bangalore Industry: MNC Aerospace Engineering manufacturing company Education: BE/BTECH in Mechanical Engineering. PG in Business Management would be a distinct advantage. Experience: 3 - 5 years experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing roles in Engineering / Aerospace companies. Preference: Aerospace and Precision Component/ assembly (Tier-1) manufacturing companies. Roles and Responsibilities Job Description: Driving client's foray into new product segments in the Aerospace Defence sector. Identifying product / service opportunities in the global defence aerospace market through detailed analysis of the market Selecting product lines through detailed analysis of the market and competitors offerings Identifying and screening potential partners, establishing contact, and exploring business opportunities. Developing negotiation and pricing strategies by studying partners' needs and goals and examining risks and opportunities. Detailing out the commercial and technical terms to sign off a long-term MOU / agreement with partner. Program Management at project implementation stage to set up a new green-field venture on defence business. Account Management and Customer Engagement throughout lifecycle of the engagement. Building and maintaining deep relationships with potential customers. Intelligence gathering on customers, market, competitive landscape, industry, and technology trends to contribute to business strategy in Aerospace defence market. Represent the Company in domestic and international defence trade exhibitions and industry conferences / forums with a view to generate new business leads and build brand presence. Desired Candidate Profile Key Skills: Experience in Strategic / Business Planning / Business Development Performing market research and identifying business opportunities Strong analytical skills, ability to develop business models / plans. Good commercial acumen and negotiation skills Demonstrated experience in closing large & long-term deals. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Ability to handle top level management interactions in customer organisations Ability to work and in a start-up environment, initiative, drive & persistence to achieve results. Understanding of the Aerospace market would be a big advantage, especially Defence aircraft market.
