Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer specializing in process filtration with a strong background in design, specifications, and application knowledge. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of relevant experience and a deep understanding of filtration technologies and their diverse applications across industries. Responsibilities: 1. Technical Expertise: Utilize your expertise in process filtration to provide technical support to customers and internal teams. This includes understanding filtration requirements, meeting quality certifications pre-requisites, recommending appropriate solutions, and optimizing filtration processes. 2. Design and Specification: Develop filtration system designs and specifications tailored to meet customer needs and project requirements. Collaborate with design teams to create efficient and cost-effective solutions. 3. Product Application: Apply your knowledge of filtration products to various applications across industries such as oil and gas, petrochemical, chemicals, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing. Assess customer needs and recommend the most suitable filtration products for their specific requirements. 4. Customer Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for technical inquiries, product demonstrations, and customer consultations. Engage with customers to understand their challenges and provide effective solutions through product recommendations and technical guidance. 5. Project Management: Lead filtration projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, and manufacturing to deliver successful outcomes. 6. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in filtration systems. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of innovative filtration solutions. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; master's degree preferred. - 8-10 years of experience in process filtration, with a focus on design, specifications, and applications. - Proficiency in filtration technologies, including membrane filtration, depth filtration, and cartridge filtration. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex filtration issues. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and cross-functional teams. - Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to filtration processes. - Familiarity with CAD software and other engineering tools is a plus.
