Job Description - Assistant Restaurant Manager

As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment, providing exceptional service to our valued customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate restaurant staff to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Operational Excellence: Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Interact with guests to ensure a positive dining experience, address any concerns or complaints promptly, and implement measures to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to new employees and ongoing coaching to existing staff to improve performance and promote professional growth.
  • Financial Management: Assist in monitoring expenses, controlling costs, and maximizing revenue to achieve profitability targets.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and other team members to develop strategies for business growth, marketing initiatives, and menu development.

Requirements:

  • Experience : Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the restaurant industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge : Strong understanding of South Indian cuisine and culture, along with familiarity with restaurant management software and POS systems.
  • Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, delegate tasks effectively, and resolve conflicts professionally.
  • Communication : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with guests, staff, and management.
  • Flexibility : Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the demands of the business.
  • Qualifications : A degree or diploma in hospitality management or a related field.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: INR 20,000 to INR 25,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
