Senior Data Scientist

Position Overview :As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data analysis and machine learning techniques to address complex business problems and drive value for the organization. You will be responsible for understanding business requirements, conducting in-depth data analysis, developing statistical models, and communicating insights to stakeholders. Additionally, you will lead and mentor a team of data analysts to deliver high-quality solutions.Responsibilities :- Understanding Business Problems: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Identify opportunities where data science and machine learning can provide solutions to business challenges.- Data Analysis and Preparation: Conduct comprehensive data analysis to ensure data quality, reliability, and relevance. Extract, prepare, and transform data to make it suitable for analysis and modeling purposes.- Statistical Techniques and Algorithms: Develop and implement statistical techniques and algorithms to address business challenges and add value to the organization. Utilize a deep understanding of various mathematical models to choose the right approach for the data at hand.- Storytelling and Communication: Gather requirements from stakeholders and communicate findings in the form of a meaningful story. Present insights, recommendations, and actionable insights to business leaders and decision-makers.- Predictive Modeling: Build and implement data models using predictive modeling techniques such as regression analysis, decision trees, random forests, and neural networks. Apply advanced machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.- Client Interaction and Support: Interact with clients to understand their needs, provide support for queries, and facilitate the adoption of data-driven solutions. Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in data science and machine learning.- Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.Requirements :- Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and delivering data science solutions.- Demonstrated success in projects related to retail, BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance), FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), Manufacturing, or QSR (Quick Service Restaurants).- Deep understanding of various statistical techniques, mathematical models, and algorithms.- Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, VBA, SQL, etc., to implement data models and algorithms.- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science.
