Job Description - Social Media Manager

 

Dil Foods is a virtual restaurant operator that leverages the existing but underutilized capacity of small and medium restaurants to cater to its orders.

Through its virtual brands, Dil Brands helps small and medium-sized restaurants increase their asset and resources utilization.

The idea really is to give turn key concepts to small restaurant owners which they can incorporate from their existing premise without making any additional investment and get incremental orders.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Manager to develop and execute social media strategies that align with our brand objectives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media trends and platforms, possess strong communication skills, and have a creative mindset to engage our audience effectively including conducting events, engaging influencer's and creating content. This role requires a combination of strategic planning, content creation, community management, and data analysis to drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and achieve business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand visibility, audience engagement, and drive traffic to our digital platforms.
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, videos, written and audio) across various social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media strategies with overall marketing campaigns and objectives.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, platforms, and applications, and apply that knowledge to increase engagement and improve content performance.
  • Manage and grow our social media communities by fostering meaningful interactions, responding to comments/messages, and addressing customer inquiries or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Analyze key metrics and generate reports to measure the success of social media campaigns, using insights to optimize strategies and improve performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging social media platforms, and technologies to recommend new ideas and opportunities for innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (agencies, influencers, etc.) to develop and execute collaborative social media campaigns and partnerships.
  • Ensure brand consistency in all social media content and communication, adhering to brand guidelines and voice.
  • Stay informed about relevant industry news, trends, and competitors' activities to identify potential opportunities or threats.
  • Plan and execute events from scratch to increase brand awareness and engagement with our target audience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns and content.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and compelling content tailored to different platforms and audiences.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content and campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with social media advertising and paid promotion is a plus.
  • Familiarity with graphic design, video editing, and other multimedia content creation tools is desirable.
  • Passion for social media, digital marketing, and staying ahead of industry trends.

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time position based at our Bangalore office.
  • Occasional travel may be required for events, conferences, or meetings.
  • Flexibility in working hours may be necessary to accommodate social media activity outside of regular business hours.
