Job Description



Position: Credentialing Specialist (Voice) – US Medical Billing
Compensation : Depends on Experience & Qualification
Job Type: Full Time, 8 hour shift with overlapping time with PST (California Time zone)
Location: Chennai, TN (Work from Office)
Start Date: ASAP
Experience: 4 years +
Industry: Healthcare - Health Services

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining relationships with key directors and managers at IPAs and medical groups.
  • Acquiring new insurance contracts for physician/medical group clients.
  • Renegotiating contract rates for physician/medical group clients.
  • Familiar with contracting terms and definitions..i.e. LOA’s. MOU’s, LOI’s
  • Knowledge of CPT codes and ICD 9
  • Possess superior organizational skills
  • Previous experience working with contract regulations for managed care.
  • Excellent Customer Service experience dealing with Provider Relations departments.
  • Voice experience is MUST with very good communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years of experience in Insurance Contracting & Credentialing (Voice required)
  • Experience with obtaining insurance/IPA contracts. (required)
  • 2 years of experience with US based Health plans/IPA's (required)
