Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Data Science Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, machine learning, and AI, preferably with a particular focus on consumer healthtech projects. You will be responsible for driving data-driven insights and developing innovative solutions across multiple projects, leveraging your expertise to enhance our product offerings and improve user outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement data models and machine learning algorithms for various projects, including consumer healthtech and AI applications.
• Conduct thorough data analysis and preprocessing to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Develop and deploy predictive models to identify trends, patterns, and insights from complex data sets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and healthcare professionals, to integrate data solutions into our products.
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings and support decision-making processes.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed models, making improvements as necessary.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI to continuously improve our methodologies and tools.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data scientists and engineers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Science Engineer, with a strong portfolio of projects in consumer healthtech and AI.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib).
• Extensive knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, PyTorch).
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with large, complex data sets.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
