As a Staff Software Engineer with Diagnostic Cardiology team, you will have strong technical expertise working on development and integration of Cloud project solutions. • In this role, you will:
• Understand whole product, its modules and the interrelationship between them and platform components while being an expert in the assigned component or module.
• Help in designing interfaces and information exchange between modules.
• Articulate the need for scalability and understand the importance of improving quality through testing.
• Be an expert in writing code that meets standards and delivers the desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
• Drive design reviews, define interfaces between code modules, and applies existing technology to designs.
• Be an expert in assessing application performance and optimizing/improving it through design and best coding practices.
• Be responsible for providing technical leadership and defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure.
• Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
• Demonstrate the understanding of Agile software development lifecycle and able to distinguish the core inputs and outputs in each cycle.
• Engage in technical discussions participate in technical designs and present technical ideas through white boarding.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Computer Science/Electronics/Biomedical Electronics.)
• 8+ years Industry experience as Software engineer or scientist within the appropriate field of study.

Technical Expertise:

• Experience in using C# or Python or Javascript creating and consuming RESTful APIs(Application programming interface).
• For design/development/test of components/modules to enable Cloud hosting of software services/application.
• Demonstrated experience driving requirements development, integration with platform components, management and flow-down to subsystems while ensuring traceability between design and test procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to work with technical leadership team to implement product platform/subsystem multi-generation technology plan for a specific release of a global program/product.

Desired Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent degree.
• Experience working on Docker, Netflix Conductor or Kong API management for hosting applications on a Cloud deployment architecture.
• Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues.
