Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Mumbai/ Pune office:

MERN stack Developer

We are looking for an experienced MERN stack developer with experience in solution development and functional analysis into large-scale enterprise application with a hands-on approach in designing and implementation of web application.

Be a champion for both technical and functional solutions across full stack development, driving the adoption of new features and technology

Assist others in the team and oversee programming functions to ensure build is stable , secure and scalable in addition to meeting  business requirements

Preview to our current base policies:

• Maternity benefits : Sum insured for normal delivery and C-section is INR 75,000.
• Mental health on IPD (up to full sum insured) and OPD (up to 40,000) to cover Psychiatric and related treatments
• Home care and treatment : Within the sum insured limit
• Hotel quarantine: Covered in the policy
• Make shift or temporary hospital treatment : Within the sum insured limit
• Enhanced colleague experience through Benefitme portal (one stop self-service for enrolment)

Voluntary Parental Policy:

• Sum Insured options: 3 Lacs, 5 Lacs and 7 Lacs
• Pre-existing diseases: Covered from Day 1 with no waiting periods
• Co-pay: 20% on all claims expect capped aliments
• Internal Congenital ailment: Covered
• Room Rent Restriction: INR 7,500/- per day for normal room & INR 10,000/- per day for ICU; Proportionate Clause applicable
• Pre and post hospitalization: Covered for 30 days and 60 days respectively
• Time exclusions: Waived for diseases (30 days / 1 year / 2 years / 4 years)
• Although completely voluntary, colleagues would be encouraged to enroll considering dependents age & pre-existing health conditions
• 6 monthly instalment option through payroll

We will count on you to:

• 3-5 years’ experience in the IT industry Demonstrable experience of working on similar technology stack on enterprise scale applications or projects
• Minimum 3 years’ experience of working in agile/iterative software development teams with a DevOps working setup and with an emphasis on self-organization and delivery to agreed commitments.
• Expertise in JavaScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB, NestJS
• Design and implement scalable and efficient micro-frontends using React.js
• Develop and implement unit tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the codebase.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain full-stack applications.
• Work with MongoDB for data storage and retrieval.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
• Experience with REST APIs and Git
• Knowledge and experience working with PostgreSQL is a major plus
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, reusable and well-documented code
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Implement security and data protection measures for web applications
• Experience in and knowledge of AWS
• Experience with deployment and hosting of web applications
• Able to fit in well within an informal rapid innovation environment and to provide hands-on management

What you need to have: 

• 3-5 years of combined IT experience
• Strong background to deal with global stakeholders
• Strong background in all aspects of the software development process delivering enterprise level projects
