Responsibilities :

• Requirement document analysis, create & execute test scripts
• • Requirement document analysis, create & execute test cases for manual testing
• Identify gaps in requirements and communicate with the team and resolve
• Take ownership of required data collection, cleansing & validation and setup for seamless test activity
• Take ownership of the test environment and make it intact during the testing phase till closure.
• Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
• Daily bug reporting and test completion percentage to project members
• Take ownership of the defect life cycle process using DevOps/Jira/Or any other tools
• Promptly handover test deliverables with the highest accuracy such as test cases, traceability matrix, test summary,
• execution sheet, and bug reports Experience with working in different project approaches (e.g. Agile, Waterfall)
• Conduct peer reviews of test cases and take knowledge-sharing
• Familiarity with the various testing methodologies
• Experienced with Performance Tests, Stress Tests, Integration Tests
• Experienced with both Front End and Back end testing
• Ability to understand patterns of software failure

Knowledge & Skills Requirements :

• Proficient in preparing test plan, test cases and must be excellent in performing different types of testing - Smoke Testing, Functional Testing, Performance Testing, Integration testing, Regression and API testing.
• Proficient in managing and using any of the bug tracking tool (Preferred JIRA)
• Experience in writing and editing automated tests
• Possess strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• Possess strong organizational skills
• Possess ability to contribute in a global team environment
• Bug tracking
• Practical knowledge on process Instruments (Good to have)
• Excellent communication skill 
• Functional Testing, Regression, Smoke , Integration testing, Black Box ,White Box 
• Quickly learn how to use features and functionality of Spectrum Protect in order to effectively test the product
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with System level testing and large scale customer environment testing (CET) will be a plus.
