Job Title: Assistant Manager/Manager - HR Location: GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Visakhapatnam Department: Human Resources Job Summary: The Assistant Manager/Manager - HR at GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research will play a crucial role in driving the recruitment process and ensuring compliance with National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) standards. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle, implementing HR policies, and facilitating NABH-related activities to maintain high standards of healthcare delivery. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment and Staffing: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Coordinate with department heads to understand staffing needs and job requirements. Source, screen, and interview candidates for various positions within the institute. Conduct background checks and reference checks to ensure candidate suitability. Manage job postings on various platforms and the institute's career portal. Organize and participate in job fairs, campus recruitment drives, and other talent acquisition events. NABH Activities: Ensure all HR practices and processes comply with NABH standards. Maintain and update documentation required for NABH accreditation. Collaborate with various departments to implement and monitor NABH guidelines. Facilitate training sessions and workshops related to NABH compliance and quality improvement. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to NABH standards. Prepare and present reports on NABH compliance and HR activities to senior management. Employee Relations: Address employee grievances and provide timely resolution. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve retention strategies. Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems. Support managers in setting performance goals and evaluating employee performance. Provide guidance on career development and training needs. HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases. Prepare and update HR policies and procedures in line with industry best practices. Oversee onboarding and orientation programs for new hires. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. Training and Development: Identify training needs and organize relevant training programs. Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments. Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR Experience in healthcare recruitment and familiarity with NABH standards is highly desirable. Strong understanding of HR best practices and labor laws. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Skills and Competencies: Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. Strong organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. High level of integrity and professionalism.
