Job Description - Human Resources Information Technology

HR Technology role plays a crucial role in leveraging technology to enhance HR processes, improve efficiency, and support the organization's strategic objectives. Identify the necessity and opportunities to improve / implement new technology in HR. Identify the areas where technology can play an important part to improve efficiency, accuracy, and being compliant.

This role will oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of technology systems and platforms used by the HR.

Their responsibilities typically include:

  • Requirement Documentation: Instrumental in putting up the business requirement document with the help of SME to ensure all documents are captured appropriately.
  • Implementation:
  • the implementation of HR technology solutions.
  • integrations between different HR systems to ensure seamless data flow. Planning and overseeing system upgrades and migrations to newer versions or platforms.
  • that HR technology systems comply with relevant regulations and data privacy laws. Implementing security measures to protect sensitive HR data from unauthorized access or breaches.
  • adequate training and support to HR staff and end-users on how to effectively use HR technology systems.
  • Management: Collaborating with vendors to evaluate, select, and negotiate contracts for HR technology solutions. Managing ongoing relationships with vendors to ensure service levels are met and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Administration: Overseeing the day-to-day administration of HR systems, including user access, data integrity, system configurations, and troubleshooting.
  • Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline HR processes through technology automation and optimization. Working closely with HR business partners, recruitment team, L&OD team, to understand their needs and develop technology solutions to support them.
  • & Data Analytics: Leveraging HR technology systems to analyze workforce data and generate insights that inform decision-making and strategic planning.
