About the role
We need a finance leader that is able to translate the multiple facets of our business (supply marketplace, cloud optimization/aggregation, a managed low code platform, transactional SaaS) into a coherent financial narrative that not only shows how lead indicators are progressing but also highlight key areas that we need to optimize on. We need an operational and strategic finance leader to partner with the founders and business stakeholder, so that the organization can scale and step up to the new scale the business is operating in. This role will be pivotal to enable the company's ability to scale in its growth and ensure all operational aspects of the Finance department run smoothly and efficiently.

• Act as a partner to the CEO and business stakeholders; helping them navigate finance, cash management, financial relationships and beyond. The leader needs to be hands on and have the ability to dig deep into the data.
• Manage multiple jurisdictions with a captive finance team in India that runs operational finance for the group.
• Financial Operations: Overseeing the day to day financial operations, such as, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and billing. Ensuring efficient and accurate financial translation processing.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Leading the budgeting process and working with various departments to create realistic financial forecasts. Monitoring budget performance throughout the year and making adjustments as needed.
• Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysts to identify trends, opportunities and risks. Utilizing financial modeling and data analyst to support decision making resource allocation.
• Establishing robust internal controls to safeguard the company’s access and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Coordinating with internal and external audits for periodic audits.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience within finance with a minimum of 5 years managerial experience
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics or a related field.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience and an understanding in; financial principles, accounting practises, modeling, strategic finance, operational finance, reporting & business intelligence.
• Previous experience working within the tech industry for a Series E company or beyond would be advantageous
• Ability to be able to transfer your experience in different domains/companies and morph it into the unique business model of Builder.ai
• Excellent communication skills with an inquisitive nature, ready to embrace complexity
• Skilled problem solver with the capability to analyze data, identify solutions and make sound decisions.
