About the Country

India:

ofi in India aims to be the supplier of choice, from sourcing and processing to logistics and marketing. Our business includes the processing of nuts (cashews & almonds), spices, Coffee, Dairy, Cocoa with leadership positions in all the products with 7 manufacturing sites & offices pan India with total employee strength of over 3000 employees.​

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare plant and line wise weekly, fortnightly and monthly production plans in liaison with PPIC and Quality Team.
• Supervise production officer and executive for the day-to-day operations of the unit, ensuring seamless production processes.
• Set production and maintenance targets for the production teams and monitor productivity, down times, manpower availability.
• Continuously monitoring of Industrial and Food Safety across the Processing plants including Grinding, Sterilization and Blending Plants.
• Monitor new equipment performance and feedback the same to the Maintenance team.
• Set quality and improvement targets for the Processing plants and ensure HACCP and BRC systems are upgraded in line with emerging requirements.
• Implement and optimize manufacturing strategies to meet production targets, quality standards, and cost efficiency.
• Optimize production efficiency while minimizing downtime and waste.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure a steady and cost-effective supply chain for raw materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Ensure SOPs for the Processing function is prepared, reviewed, and regularly adhered to.

Experience, Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, with course work in production management, operations management.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing industry preferred.
• Minimum 7 - 10 years of work experience in leadership capacity in FMCG, Manufacturing preferably in Spices / Masala category.
• Knowledge of procuring materials, equipment, and labour needed throughout the production process.
