Job Responsibilities
- Design, own, operate the commercial Strategies for the vertical & Sales for India subcontinent.
- Develop new regional market and fuel the growth of organisations in accordance with commercial strategic plan.
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve commercial and sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
- Understand category-vertical and product specific landscapes and trends.
- Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
- Accountable and responsible for companies’ new revenue growth via sales.
- Identify opportunities where PSA BDP’s products, service solutions can add value and drive efficiencies within customers’ supply chain demands.
- Partner with regional operations, products in providing market insight and preparing organisation for future supply chain needs of the market in developing new product/market/trade lane etc.
- Achieving minimum new sales ROI target of 4x of the overall sales cost of the self and team.
Requirement and Skills
- Proven commercial leadership and executive experience, meeting, or exceeding targets.
- Previous experience as commercial/sales leadership in supply chain and logistics Industry
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
- Proven ability to position products against competitors.
- Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Develop and execute the PSA BDP’s commercial/sales plan for key vertical specifically, Industrial, Auto & EV, Or RCF (Retail, consumer, and Fashion) for reginal level in line with customers time to market requirement.
- Accountable and responsible for companies’ new revenue growth via sales.
- Maximize sales growth through the development of new sales, product marketing, and customer support strategies; and achieving specific volume growth targets in the assigned area(s) of the business.
- Excellent leadership skill by exhibiting high level of integrity and leading by example.
- Collaborative mind set to drive the common organisational goal and objectives.
- Experience of diversified team of logistics professionals on PAN India basis.
Experience and Domain Knowledge
Essential Desirable Sales and Business development in Multinational organisation background
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management or Business.
- At least 10 to 12 year’s experience Sales& Business development handling MNC customer base.
- Experience in Freight Forwarding or 3PL in established MNC environment is highly appreciated
- Proven record in delivering above average target growth and possible revenue profile change
