Reports to – E-commerce Head Job Summary:
E-commerce Executive plays a crucial role in the success of an e-commerce business by managing and implementing various aspects of online sales and marketing. You will be responsible for driving online sales, optimizing the customer experience, and ensuring the smooth operation of the e-commerce platform. This role requires a combination of marketing, technical, and analytical skills to achieve the company's online sales goals. Key Responsibilities:
1. E-commerce Strategy :
Develop and execute e-commerce strategies to increase online sales and profitability.
Identify and capitalize on emerging e-commerce trends and technologies to stay competitive. 2. Marketplace Management :
Maintain and update the e-commerce websites, ensuring all images/videos are uploaded, banners, consumer offers etc
Manage and co-ordinate with marketplaces to check on pricing regularly 3. Data Metrics
Monitor and analyse sales metrics and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Implement promotional campaigns, discounts, and cross-selling strategies to boost sales.
Generate reports on website traffic, sales, and customer behaviour 4. Customer Experience :
Answering customer queries on Amazon/Flipkart and other marketplaces 5. Listing Expert
Listing of products on Amazon & Flipkart, Variation listing is mandatory, uploading of A+ content and other graphics
Collaborate with graphic designers and content creators to enhance the visual appeal of product listings. 6. Inventory Management :
Monitor and manage product inventory to prevent stock outs or overstock situations.
Implement inventory tracking systems and ensure accuracy. 7. Payment Processing and Security :
Co-ordination with marketplaces for timely payments reconciliation 8. Competitor Analysis :
Monitor competitor e-commerce platforms/brands and strategies.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends. 9. Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Work closely with the marketing, sales and customer service teams to achieve e-commerce goals.
Coordinate with logistics and shipping teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in e-commerce management and online sales.
Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
