Financial Business Analyst

Role Description

This position is responsible for the researching, Analysing, and developing Market knowledge and helping the CEO for converting New Business opportunities for the Organisation.

Additionally candidate will be assisting the CFO office in financial modelling and FP&A.

Main Duties and Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

• Regular Data Base Management, Data Analysis, Report Preparations related to Logistics and Shipping Industry i.e. Port wise Volumes, Commodity, Vessel, Shipper/Importer etc.
• Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
• Examines risks and potentials for the business opportunities (SWOT Analysis)
• Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and needs.
• Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
• Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes, and operations, and remain up to date on industry news.
• Should be comfortable with numerical analysis/numbers.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineer with a Master’s degree in business administration in Finance or management from Tier 1 institutes, highly desirable
• Diploma/Degree in Sales/Marketing/Market Research in Logistics 

Experience

• 3-4 years working experience relevant experience as Business Analyst / Market Research in logistics or supply chain industry

Skills

• Requires excellent analytical skills , including the ability to interpret data.
• Requires good time management , due to fast-moving, demanding work environment.
• Should be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be Good in Microsoft Excel, Power point Presentation preparation and must be able to demonstrate strong Presentation Skills .
• Must be good in Written and Oral Communication skills in English as well as local language.
• Must be Able to Understand Financial Statements and also prepare a Project Financial Models

Remunerations 

• 30 – 35 LPA
• Flexibility - Commensurate with experience
