Haqdarshak - Assistant Manager - Data Scientist

Must have :Educational Background : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics.- Demonstrated experience in independently driving business insights through data Technical Proficiency : a. Hands-on experience with data tools (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, S3 buckets) with ability to work with large data setsb. Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for data mining, data manipulation and analysisc. Strong understanding of data analysis principles and atleast a few of common statistical methods such as : i. Segmentation and Predictive Modeling (K means, Clustering, Multivariate Regression, Logistic Regression)ii. ML algorithms -RF, GBM / XgBoost, SVMiii. NLP algos - TFIDF, Word2vec, LDAiv. Exploratory Analytics (T-tests)v. Decision Treesd. Skills in using SQL, R, Python, Excel, and other data tools- Familiarity with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database) is a must.- Experience in project management, stakeholder management, and leading multi-disciplinary teams for atleast 2-4 yearsGood to have :- Data engineering experience, with understanding of data architecture principles is a huge plus - Experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, etc.).- Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Adaptability : Ability to adapt to new technologies and changing requirements.- Ability of Visual story-telling with BI & Visualization Tools (Tableau/Spotfire/Power BI, Cognos, Business Objects) is preferred- Advanced Excel including VBA and PowerPoint skills- Excellent written and oral communication skills- Ability to be laser focused on delivering outcomes with speed and agility- Self-driven individual who thrives in ambiguity (ref:hirist.tech)
