Job Description - Manager Logistics

Position: Manager - Logistics, warehouse management, Production Planning and Dispatch Job Description:
ï'· Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and product specification
ï'· Develop production plan, budget and timeliness according to production specifications.
ï'· Oversee production planning and management activities within the organization.
ï'· Responsible to determine Materials, manpower required to complete production targets.
ï'· Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle.
ï'· Conduct daily meetings to keep track of production schedules.
ï'· Evaluate current production processes and recommend improvements.
ï'· Coordinate with sales, Production, Purchase, Stores and HR departments.
ï'· Planning and managing Dispatches, logistics, transportation, customer service Shipment process.
ï'· Maintain the FG stock and Warehouse arrangements. Control and supervise stock movements
(receipts, storage and dispatches), Stock accounting and reconciliation as per SOP.
ï'· Ensure proper storage, preservation of finished goods and maintain.
ï'· Ensure proper loading and unloading of vehicles / consignments
ï'· Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers
ï'· Maintain packing material stock as per the production planning and purchase order process.
ï'· Preparation of Export documents to execute the orders.
ï'· Preparation of MIS reports of Stock, Finished Goods, chemicals, packaging material etc.
ï'· Data collection and documentation of 3 rd party inspection bodies for getting the certificates.
ï'· Responsible for developing, documenting and improving logistics initiatives in timely manner.
ï'· Ensure timely and daily dispatch of export finished products to the customers in coordination with the
Production and Marketing departments with the correct labels and documents
ï'· Maintain manpower discipline in the department, through better inter-personal / relationship, training
and development.
ï'· Impart training to Supervisors/workmen as per their needs.
ï'· Demonstrate leadership skills, set priorities, provide guidance, solve problems to inspire the team to
perform their optimum utilization.
ï'· Experience of working on Tally 9, Microsoft office (word/excel/power point etc.) Location: Boisar , Palghar
