Position Title: Manager/Sr. Manager – Logistics

Reports to: Sr General Manager
Qualification: B.E., M.B.A., from Reputed University.
Experience: min 20 years’ experience.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:
- Globally lead the negotiations of various international transportation services to and from India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Canada, Mexico & USA manage the overall.
- Plan strategically and manage logistics, transportation, destination delivery without any additional cost.
- Finalize the yearly contract with freight forwarders, transporters, and CHA.
- Manage USA domestics outbound carrier in cost effective manner with on time delivery without any additional cost.
- Manage cross country Mexico to USA inbound carrier with on time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure logistics activities are compliant with United states customs and border protection regulations to deal with customs brokers and drayage companies.
- Assist in managing daily shipments and customs activities for import and export.
- Maintain good relationship with vendors and service providers to improve overall business performance.
- Develop standard operating procedures and scheduling/shipping practices for efficiently carrying out logistics activities.
- Inform cost changes, shipment issues, supply concerns to respective personnel and team in a timely manner.
- Ensure that logistics system is operated in accordance with local, state, and federal customs laws.
- Keep track of delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
Required Skills:
- Proven skills in relationship management with government / regulatory authorities for keeping compliance with obtaining necessary sanctions/clearances.
- Possess in-depth knowledge about LC as per UCP.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills with a proven track record of utilizing a process-oriented approach towards the accomplishment targets.
- Well versed in MS Office tools (Particularly Excel & PPT) and should possess sound ERP knowledge.
- Should have handled a team of 5-10 members.
- Candidate from EOU would be preferred.
